Villa Agave

Formerly the residence of the famous archaeologist Sir Arthur Evans (from 1875 to 1882), the villa has been designed to a high degree of luxury with many interesting and valuable antique details. One of the first villa’s guests was Hollywood Oscar winner Kevin Spacey! Today, this former summer residence is a reminder of times past and a building of great cultural and historical importance. Today, Villa Agave has 270 square meters of exclusively designed interior and another 400 square meters of specially designed space around the house. Particularly attractive is the old chapel, with details from a distant past, rustic stone walls, and skilfully incorporated modernist and Mediterranean details. It was intended for rest and meditation. Villa Agave has five beautiful terraces. The large one on the ground floor opens a beautiful view of the old town. It has a small pool, while one of the smaller, but equally beautiful terraces has a whirlpool tub in the back. An open wooden staircase leads to the room on the first floor that also has a great view of Lokrum and the old town.
